Welcome to Criminal Law Advocates
Criminal Law Advocates (CLA) is an established Criminal Law firm. We offer a wealth of experience, cover a wide geographic area, and provide representation in all Criminal Courts and at the Police Station.
If you are looking to find a solicitor, we provide representation for all Criminal Law matters as well as Motoring Offences, Prison Law matters and Civil Rights litigation.
From our offices in Reading and Didcot we are able to cover any court in Berkshire and Oxfordshire and most courts in Wiltshire, North Hampshire, Surrey, West London, and Buckinghamshire. We may also cover courts in other parts of the country depending on the seriousness of the offence.
Our Advocates & Solicitors
We only instruct the best advocates, at the Magistrates or Crown Court. All our Magistrates Court lawyers are experienced successful trial advocates. In the Crown Court we only instruct experienced and trusted Counsel who have worked with CLA for many years.
Six experienced solicitors work for CLA:
Adonis Daniel: Our senior partner, has been in practice for over 20 years.
Michael Phillips: Partner and solicitor advocate with extensive experience of trial advocacy at the Crown Court and Magistrates Court.
Stephen Collins: has been in practice for 15 years.
Pete Gotch: is in the process of cross-qualifying as a solicitor, having been called to the bar of England and Wales.
Ruth Draisey: has recently joined the team, having been in practice for many years with a large Oxforshire law firm.
Tom Brymer: has recently qualified as a solicitor.
We hold a Legal Aid Franchise for all criminal matters. We also have a large private client department.
